Hi!
While Im finishing Roland Sands bike, Im begining my next proyect.
I saw this bike in a magazine years ago and I fallen in love with it:

This is Masayuki Morimoto's boardtracker harley, I love the minimalism frame, huge engine, crude exhaust piper, clean lines, so I decide ti buils a replica, but as a Ducati fan, I think would be really cool build the first ducati, the Cicciolo, because it started as a bicycle whit an engine, here some images:

So I drew a sketches of a bicycle with Desmosedici engine based in Morimoto's stetics:

I tought It woulde be great making a bicycle frame with a evil Desmosedici engine and a little boartracker tail, but I remebered Cucciolo also was famous as a racing motorcycle:

So I made a sketch of my interpretation of this:

I made several drawings comparing Desmosedici frame and geometry and Cucciolo features:

In this one using the original radiator housing:

Now my dilema is if I should build the bicycle version with thin tires:

Or the motorcycle version with fatter tires and drum brakes:

May be I will make the motorcycle version, any way im going to buils Morimoto's Harley so I will build a bicycle with masive engine.
Besides would be better to make a tributr for the Cucciolo Racing.
This is my final Idea:

I think is better because if we think in a real bike, the bicycle tipe would be more an exhibition bike; the boardtrack version would be more rideable en enjoyable.
Im going to use carbon fiber decals, Termignoni, Marchesisni and Verlichi decals so its going to be a really modern ducati tribute.
So I will sart with the frame.
